Record & Refocus

OutFocus Productions is a studio created by HKU graduates Nora Lam and Samuel Wong in 2014. Our past works include the feature documentary “Road Not Taken” on the post-Umbrella Revolution generation, the 21st ifva Awards Open Category finalist short “Midnight in Mong Kok”, short drama film ‘Couplet’ in the 2015 Freshwave Competition, and the short documentary “A Veteran Returns” on the Battle of HK.

We aim to gather scattered scenes in camera to bring a much greater focus as they come together and fall into places, and to find a new angle to see the soul of Hong Kong through the lens of the youth.
